Acrylic Polymer Flexible Surface Coating

Flexicote 1000 is an acrylic polymer coating that is provided in a tub for use as a foundation coat or fairing coat. It is used as a fairing coat on new masonry substrate, fibre cement sheeting, concrete walls and autoclaved aerated concrete. It can also be used as a foundation coat for repair surface imperfection prior to painting works. Flexicote 1000 can be applied on both vertical, horizontal and overhead areas such as the soffit.

Application for Flexicote 1000

Fleixcote 1000 can be applied straight from the tub with a steel trowel. It is ready to use and does not require the addition of water. The curing time of Flexicote 1000 is 24 hours upon which it can be painted over. As a solvent free formulation, Flexicote 1000 is not recommended for use in areas where the temperature are below 5°C. Higher temperature and lower humidity increase the working time and drying time whereas lower temperature and higher humidity decreases the working time and drying time.
