RYNAOX® VERTIGRIP 1110 is a pure dispersion resin inter-mixed with quartz and has easy application rheology. It is used with its moisture repellence property and mechanical key
enhancement on absorbent or dense substrates for onward layer application of mineral plasters or tile adhesives.

Application for SmartPrime SL

VERTIGRIP 1110 can be applied using spray guns, brush or roller. It is ready to use and a maximum addition of 10% water by weight is allowed to achieve a good spray consistency. Before using, any settled quartz must be inter-mixed in by mechanical stirring. Application of intended subsequent plasters or tile adhesive must only be applied after the priming is fully dried. Dryness can be easily checked with a simple scratch test before overlaying.
As a pure dispersion resin VERTIGRIP 1110 cannot be worked at substrate temperatures below +5°C. If full moisture repellence is desired for applications on e.g. shower walls, a
minimum application of 2 subsequent coats is mandatory. Apply the 2nd coat when the first coat has fully dried after about 2 hours depending on the ambient temperature and humidity*.
